The Last of Us Part 2 is All Set To Arrive on June 19


Finally, the wait is over. Naughty Dog has revealed that The Last of Us Part 2 will now arrive on June 19. This Announcement was expected because of the spoilers which were leaked by their employee a couple of days ago.

Hard Luck So Far For The Last of Us Part 2

The game has already faced so many obstacles before its release. This launch date is the third one assigned to the game in the year 2020. First, it was announced that the game will arrive in February. Afterwards, it was supposed to launch on May 29 but due to Coronavirus, it was delayed. Now, it will hit the stores on June 19.

The Last of Us Part 2 was officially announced in 2016 and we have been waiting for its arrival since then. Fans are currently hoping that this will be the final release date. Considering there here are so many Last of Us Part 2 spoilers on the internet these days, players will have to avoid them for eight weeks.

Developer Naughty Dog said in their message on Twitter that it is “disappointing” to see the spoilers. They further asked players to do their best to avoid spoilers and no matter what anyone sees, the final experience will be worth it.

Another Anticipated Game of This Year Gets a Launch Date

Along with The Last of Us Part 2 release date, Sony has also announced that The Ghost of Tsushima will now launch on June 17. The head of worldwide studios Hermen Hulst also said some words about the release of both games in a Blog on PlayStation. The head said with ease in the global distribution environment, they are pleased to announce that The Last of Us Part 2 will arrive on June 19 and Ghost of Tsushima will release on July 17. Hermen also appreciated the efforts of both Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch and congratulated them on their achievements.

Iron Man VR is the only game that doesn’t have any launch date. It was expected to launch in May but due to COVID-19, it was delayed. Right now, Sony has got their hands full with the release of The Last of Us Part 2 and The Ghost of Tsushima. We might have to wait a little more for the launch of Iron Man VR.
